The Owner and Lead Consultant at Oak Barrel Consulting has over 20 years of experience in the alcohol industry, 15 years working for the federal government six of which were spent as a federal investigator working at the Alcohol, Tobacco, Tax, and Trade Bureau (TTB). TTB is the permitting agency for alcohol manufactures, importers, and wholesalers - not ATF as many people in the business still confuse the two agencies. Most states require a TTB permit to be eligible to apply for a state permit/license, and most model their compliance programs based off of TTB's regulations and policies.
Our staff has a unique perspective of the innerworkings of the federal government and many have been life long small business owners. We have already made the mistakes for you, honing a skill set managing, and selling small businesses.
